Google’s Pixel 8 Pro Prototype Revealed in a Leak

According to a report by DroidLife, new photos of Google's rumored Pixel 8 Pro have surfaced on Reddit, allegedly shared by someone connected to Google. The back of the device showcases a camera array resembling multiple pixels, and there's speculation about the inclusion of a body temperature sensor. A sticker on the device indicates that it is for testing and evaluation purposes only. Additionally, the codename "Zuma - B1" has been associated with Google's upcoming Tensor G3 chip.

On the front display, the photos reveal specifications such as 12 GB of Samsung LPDDR5 DRAM, 128 GB of storage, and Fastboot mode. The codename "Husky" corresponds to the previously leaked codename for the Pixel 8 Pro.

The Pixel 8 Pro is expected to feature an enhanced camera setup. Rumors suggest a 50-megapixel Samsung main camera and a 64-megapixel Sony ultra-wide camera that allows for 50 percent more light. Unlike the curved screens of the Pixel 6 Pro and Pixel 7 Pro, the Pixel 8 Pro is said to have a flat screen. Another leak indicates a 5,000 mAh battery, similar to the Pixel 7 Pro, with a maximum charging speed of 23W to 27W.

A Reddit user named "UnknowingDoorit" claimed to have received the device for testing from Google's device team and shared the photos in a series of posts. The user later deleted their account, likely due to concerns about privacy.

It's important to note that these details and leaks should be taken with a certain level of skepticism until officially confirmed by Google.
