TikTok Introduces Text Based Feature
With this new text post format, users will be able to share written content, including stories, lyrics, poems, and more, through a new option on the Camera page. Additionally, users can personalize their text posts with various add-ons like stickers and labels.
The platform offers a range of customization options for text posts. Users can select from a variety of background colors, incorporate audio, tag locations, enable comments, allow Duets (a feature that enables users to create content in response to other posts), and tag video or photo posts within the app. Moreover, text posts can be saved as drafts, enabling users to make further modifications before publishing.
In addition to the new text post feature, TikTok recently introduced toggle switch support for its iPhone app. This feature allows users to log into their TikTok accounts without using a password, streamlining the login process.
By diversifying its content creation options, TikTok aims to provide its users with more ways to express themselves and engage with the platform. The addition of text posts could open up new creative possibilities and further enrich the TikTok experience for its vast user base.
