This marks IO Interactive's fifth studio worldwide, joining the main studio in Copenhagen, Denmark, which is working on Project 007, Project Fantasy, and Hitman. The company has already established teams in Sweden, Spain, and Turkey.

IO Interactive has already assembled a team in Brighton to commence development tasks. The studio is currently hiring for various positions across departments such as programming, operations, and quality assurance.
In addition to the James Bond project, IO Interactive has also revealed that it is working on a fantasy RPG with online elements. Leaks from a court hearing between the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and Microsoft suggest that this game may be an exclusive for Xbox Series X|S and PC platforms. It has also been mentioned that Microsoft had expressed interest in acquiring IO Interactive in recent years, although the outcome of any such discussions remains unclear.
